Pear-To-Pear Christmas

Christmas is the holiday of love and understanding. My friend and study mate Ruta and me, we wanted to manifest this idea in something physical, something that represents our countries and something we like. The result maybe is not obvious but logic eventually: Chocolate Christmas Pears.

This dish is a traditional Lithuanian dessert for Christmas. As Ruta is Lithuania and  I am German, the German component was still missing.  That is why we took German Glühwein instead of syrup to boil the pears.
